@TheArwen96 Not at all. This aria can drag unbelieveably badly, and it sounds much more impressive if the ornementation is done at a faster tempo, not to mention there wouldn't be awkward breath placement.

I don't think your mind's focusing on the right subject, he said the song was to fast not that the aria can drag badly, but normally when you sing this song it's at least 3x slower :D Listen to Pavarotti sing it.

@diaperftw I have. He has a lovely voice, but I found myself falling asleep he took it too slowly. Tempos depend on the singer. This is just an accompaniment to help someone practice.

But every famous singer sings it slow, there's no one that stupid to sing it fast if they know what singing is. Like all the girls that put a video named "me singing caro mio ben" on youtube are just piece of shit singers unless they sing it slow.

@diaperftw I'm so glad you would find my own performance of this aria to be a "piece of shit." I put these accompaniments here for people to use to practice, not for idiots like yourself to critique. "Every famous singer" you say? There are an awful lot of "famous singers" out there. Are you sure you've checked each and every single one of them to base your opinion on them? Get your facts straight before you start insulting someone who was merely doing something good for society.

I'm glad the pacing was faster for this video. My accompanist plays with a pace like this, and the other videos were too slow for me to practice with. Thanks for uploading~
