Ame Coats, Senior Counsel at Bashyam Spiro LLP - Immigration Law Group in Raleigh N.C., explains steps being taken by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to Haitians in the U.S. who cannot return home as a result of the earthquake in Haiti.

Bashyam Spiro, LLP continues to monitor the U.S. government's reaction to the earthquake and will post TPS-related updates as soon as they become available.
