With that much marabou at the end, how many times you get short struck?

Can't say as I ever have. Maybe when the gills and perch hit them but the bass and occassional pike enhale them. By far my most productive smallmouth fly.

Because first off it's a good bit different than a wooly bugger, second because thats what the guy that created it named it!

Yes, It may be a woolly bugger, but it has legs, like a crayfish. Original Wooly Buggers don't have legs. Anyways, why can't it be a crayfish? That's one of the many things it imitates anyways.

Norman, It's called a bobbin and a high quality one can be had for around 15 bucks
