Herman Cain says it like it is. He "left that Democrat Plantation" and he appropriately evoked the thoughts of Republican Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. reminding us it's not about color. It's about content and character.
Let's face the facts. The Warmonger, murderer, terrorist, cocaine snorter and pathological liar Obama is the dumbest, worst, laziest and most divisive president in U.S. history.
You know Republicans freed the slaves, gave blacks citizenship and the right to vote, passed all civil rights laws of the 1950s and 1960s. Seems weird how there aren't more black republicans.

@ketchyawl ok, So lets talk about this video. "Plantation..."???? He calls the Democratic party a "Plantation" and then acts surprised we call him an Uncle Tom? If Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity called the Democratic party a "Plantation" people on the left and right would call them racist. But when Herman Cain says it then Rush, Sean or some other right wing pundit repeats it, it then becomes that classic Uncle Tomitry that black people who are not ashamed to be black hate.

@walkwizzy I come and look up political news online when feeling like and avoid it when not. Like the control over getting flooded with it and the choices of sources the internet allows.

@walkwizzy If the ad you are talking about is something other than the video posted here, no I haven't.
Especially if it is a TV ad, don't even have a TV, the noise and chaos of flashing lights is more than I care for. The radio stations I listen to don't much stray into politics and therefore tend not to have much political advertising.

@ketchyawl hahaha. Have you even heard the ad that I'm talkin about? I don't what color you are or where you're from but just imagine that you're black (thats only if you aint already :)), you turn on your radio and then you here this: "You don't work for a living, so what do you care about keepin taxes low? You cheat on your wife, so why would you care about protecting marraige?"

At the 6 second point about name-calling, he's right, it's done. It also goes Both ways - republitards, republithugs, democraps, occutards. As far as I'm concerned, use of that shows the world that the speaker/writer has no material with which to disprove the person or issue being referred to.
I'd like to see it ended by both sides and hard, documentable, information employed instead.

@walkwizzy - correct, it doesn't relate to who we are talking about, it relates solely to this specific assertion - "@ketchyawl Obviously you are unfamiliar with the term "Uncle Tom".

As far as the "ad suggests" part, I have Aspergers and understand that with that, words are often perceived literally without connotation or insinuation - which means, I don't see where he suggests "The ad suggests that blacks are ...", if the words are not said, the meaning isn't there.

@ketchyawl Uh, ok. But I don't see how that even remotely relates to who we're talking about. Herman Cain's radio ad sent a clear message. The ad suggests that blacks are lazy, like to sleep around and have lots of abortions and all around stupid. Then the ad goes on to paint Cain as some sort of hero who has arrived to save the black race. well, I'm black and I don't need any saving. I was brought up in a good home and raised with real values.
