In August 2009, Islamic Relief invited Sheikh Yusuf Estes and Ajmal Pictures to document their trip to witness the contribution that Islamic Relief has done in the last year towards the people of Mandera, Kenya.

Watch this documentary of Islamic Relief's project, 'Water for Life' - and yet there is still more that needs to be done. Please help and donate towards their efforts.

  • Neglected for the last 47 yrs, simply because it's NFD SOMALIA. It's time to liberate it.

  • @400yearAfricanplan

i am not talking about AFRICA in general . i am talking about the somalian land which is controlled by kenya...

why the people are lacking/ want water ... forget about anything else....

you know nothing .. go back to and educate yourself ..

this land is somalian and its occupied by kenya right now..

before their occupation that region was one of the best in somalia and now even worse than the other regions that are home for war and fights everyday!

    why is it happening?

  • @TheSufisomali tartiibso sxb nfd is better to be in kenya than somalia

  • beautiful music -- :)

  • @sufi i disagree with you. the point is not occupation of a region it's a poverty which also other kenyans have their fair share. kenyans are kenyans go to kiambu, samburu, and part of western kenya. the liberation is not the ans, the ans is how ourselve from the region can get together and create relief for our people when having problems like this. charity begins at home.

Not meant to offend anyone, just ideas.

    thanks

  • i call it home too.

  • @TheSufisomali This is Africa and will NOT be divided on religions.NEVER!We are much more civilized and realized that humanity has different views in life including religion.Cleanse yourself of uncivilized thinking and practice your religion for the best of humanity and you will see a big difference in your life.
