The lag for the first 10 seconds was due to FRAPS initializing.
Game Settings: 1920x1080, 8x AA (set in Catalyst), All settings on "Hardcore"
System Specs:
Dell Studio XPS 7100
AMD Phenom II X6 1045T 2.7GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM
1.5 TB HDD 7200RPM in RAID 0
ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5
With FRAPS: 30-45fps
Without FRAPS: 60-75fps
The game isn't too great graphics-wise. Feels like a step back from Crysis 1 and I really dont like the Nanosuit in this game.
I finally found a good render setting that balances quality with size, so videos should look better from now on.

@Morontown I changed to ATI Radeon 6770 with AMD Phenom x4 945 3.0 GHz. Would that be better?

@TheSandyNub That sounds pretty good aside from the fact that the x6 Phenom line is going to be discontinued in September. If you can hold off until then, I would recommend it.
