The Massachusetts Film Office presents a short film highlighting the local economic impact of just a few movies from the summer of 2009 in order to better illustrate how film and television production supports and sustains local businesses and communities. It was produced by MFO Director of Operations, Mary Chiochios.

I remember when Florida was all the rage and just last year, Governor Charlie Crist denied a $25 million dollar concession bill that would've caused another big boom in productions. It's totally dead down here. DEAD!

I just got back from performing in Maryland where I spoke to a person on the MD arts commission. They are wondering what's going on in Massachusetts and getting very jealous. Great work MA Film Office.
