  • Been following Quik's music since early 90's. It's refreshing to see him evolve into someone with good advice & positive direction for these young cats....

  • Dre should have dropped right after "The Documentary" with Game 50 n Eminem....

  • Dre what happpend to "So give me one more platinum plaque and fuck rap You can have it back "

  • @MRWEDAWEST

I agree and disagree with you. I agree that he has waited too long and he should have dropped the album already. But on the other end, you got to give him some credit. He has probably built so much anticipation for this album that everyone that could be a potential fan of this new album has probably heard something about detox. That is brilliant marketing. I think this album will sell 5 to 7 million overtime !

  • id rather hear jay electronica's album.....

  • yah i agre wit alot of yall DRE waited way to long to drop detox if he cud have dropped it sooner we might have seen a resurgence in rap in general but we got all this gay shit on the radio and i mean i wish i cud run up on them radio stations wit a gang of niggas and be like ima blow your brains if you keep playin the same lame song over and over when we got a whole boat load of dope rappas not the gettin coverage they shud be gettin bein honest im afraid it cud flop or at most as few mil

  • Now think about all the tight ass songs that ended up gettin leaked & goin to waste or thrown on a free mixtape, that could been on these albums. Topless-TI/Nas Shit Popped Off-TI Hard Liquor-Game Soft Rhodes-Game/Ashanti The Ocean-Game Rain-Bishop Lamont Send A Nigga Home-Bishop Hallelujah-Bishop Hard Knock Life-Game Won't Stop-Game Sosa Vs State-Nas/AZ
  • Look at all the niggas that Dre fuck wit over the years that we know he coulda put on these comps.

    West- DPG,Quik,WSC,Game,Bishop Lamont,Knoc,Likwit Crew,Timbo

    East-Jay,Busta,Nas,Raekwon,Mobb Deep,50,Banks,AZ,Foxy,Nature

    South-Young Buck,TI,Slim Thug,Stat Quo,Scarface

    Midwest-Eminem,D12,Obie Trice,Trick Trick

    Singers-Mary J Blige,LaToiya Williams,Devin The Dude,Truth Hurts,Bilal,Nate Dogg,Kokane,Butch Cassidy,Traci Nelson,Akon,Chrisette Michelle,D'Angelo,Ashanti

  • Look what Dre's workin wit: Reputation as best hip hop producer of all-time. Almost EVERY artists dyin to work with him. Mad access to radio/video play. Enough cash to finance his own, huge videos.Imagine what he coulda done with that.He coulda sold a platinum plus all star compilation for each region every year.East,West,South & Midwest. He coulda been capitalizin on all that.

  • I say,the most "Detox" is gonna sell is 2Million. If that. The shit might flop & go gold in this climate.Ain't too many people buyin records right now.Especially west coast gangsta shit or real mc shit.

Sad part is,he could sold probably 10,20,30 million over the years. If he'da dropped an album or 2 every year since '2001" came out, each one woulda prolly sold 1-4 Mil.At LEAST gold. Think about all the songs that's been leaked over the years. And the artists he's had down with the team....
