ESP LTD snakebyte with EMG JH pickups

Random MetallicA songs with my snakebyte and hetfields new emg pickups. Amp is my mesa/boogie mark III+ into a thd 2X12. Recorded with my iphone 4, so not the best quality.

i hear often that explorer based guitars have horrible tuning and wear out the nut faster than other guitars, is it true?

@gofuckloser I have 3 explorer style guitars and they seem to hold tuning just as good as any other guitar that I've ever played. I don't know about the nut part, all of mine are fine and don't seem like they are going to be wearing out anytime soon.

Hey i'm not being funny but what is a mesa boogie mark III+ i had a mark III and now i own a mark v but never heard of a mk III+ so let me know.

@wpmtpm It's was a mark III purple stripe, then I sent it in to boogie and Mike Bendinelli did some magic to it that he calls the III+ mod. I don't know what all he did to it, but it's totally amazing now! It's supposed to be the markIIC+ circuit minus the transformers i believe.

Metallica is a great band and has MILLIONS of fans worldwide obviously they've been doing something right if every single show they've done has been a sold-out show. I´m jamming on an roughly 18 Years old Gibson Explorer and i NEVER EVER had a guitar holding Tune so well as she does!

If i put on new string and tune in, you can grab the guitar 2 days later and she will still be in tune!
