Check out our Advanced twisted Paternoster fishing rig, Bit more practice for this one, but if you've got the time and tying knots for yourself, well worth a try. You won't see this one elsewhere, or not very common but a great knot with extra abrasion resistance and strength with the Twisted loop, thanks to our Decky. The Stiffer loop also keeps the Hooks well clear of the main line and less tangles. Tie this Paternoster rig as demonstrated and use as per our normal rig with one or two hooks. Once again they're are quite a few ways to tie the Paternoster, so feel free to give this one a go. An awesome fishing knot and Good luck fishing!! Well worth using when dropping baits and fishing in deep water, with us using in that 50 metre range or deep reef edges.

Thanks, bit harder than the quick and easy paternoster video, but well worth a go for sure,

Pretty amazing mate! I noticed you are doing it with a quite thick line...can it be done with a 0.30mm?Of course it can be done but will it hold?

We use mainly heavy mono leader 80 - 100lb for our Paternoster, 0.3mm should be fine, but also depends on the size of fish you're catching. I've found the 100lb isn't affecting the fish biting and landing the better Trophy fish more often, Top fishing rig for sure,

That is very impressive.

Bit tricky, but a great paternoster, Also keeps your bait and hook out away from the main line and prevents tangles,
