@zygomatrix Thank you, I'm 43 now and as you say, Oscar's been my number one companion in life, probably already back in my mother's womb, as my parents had already gathered an OP record collection before I was born, and my mom kept playing Sandy's Blues (The Way I really Play) and Hymn to Freedom (Night Train) over and over.

Thank you for posting this very sensitive performance by my "piano hero". When I first heard Oscar back in 1961, I never believed that anyone could continue to expand his control and creativity as Oscar has done. I miss you. May God Bless you.

This recording is Pure Peterson as it is complete with his sensitivity and concern for producing music that is creative and so pleasing to hear. When I purchased my first recording of him in 1961, I thought that I was listening to two people playing and I asked "how can his playing improve?" Well this recording is a prime example of how the talent of a man can grow to unexpected levels. God Bless you Oscar; you are missed.
