Thought it was worth uploading for a second time with full audio. fpdiii has got some terrific GP clips so check em out if you haven`t already. This wonderful song is as close to perfect pop as you`re ever going to get I think (not the only Graham Parker song I feel that way about!). It`s off GP`s 1983 album "The Real Macaw". Most of the brilliant Mr Parker`s back catalogue is still available so go and do some shopping!

As I've gotten older I love this song! I'm 53 now and some think that's almost near death's door. I exercise a lot and don't do stupid stuff and I am in better shape than most teenagers who are sitting around texting.
This song is true. Stay positive because life indeed gets better.

As with babylon122, this song takes me back to my college years. It's a truly sweet song to have come from one of the "angry young men" of the 80's.

Thanks for commenting on the clip. The song is off the 1983 album "The Real Macaw". I taped this clip off TV in 1984.
