  • Can you tell me what drills are good to increase acceleration? I tried things like combination of sprinting and jogging and i don`t see a significant change in my times. Any source of information would be appreciated :)

  • @vydraf Try our other video which is titled: How to Run Faster - Speed Training Drills to Improve Overall Speed, Sprinting Mechanics, and Form)

  • What if you are not running in a combine is it better to have the arm swinging than to put it on your hip?

  • @Kryptsanies If you put you hand up and swing it downward when you start you can generate more momentum forward (I would do it in a race). But conceal it in timed event.

  • thanks man this video halped out so much, i run track for my highschool and this shaved about 9 tenths of a second of my 40 time and set a new record for my schools track records

  • @MrUncleaustin Awesome, glad to hear the feedback!!

  • this is a really good explanation.

  • @flyaires28 I have the same problem, but I'm finding that keeping my lower body strength in proportion with upper body is keeping me as fast, while allowing plyometrics, and speed drills, etc to get me quicker. Don't just work upper. Keep up lower body with squats, lunges, deadlifts, etc. Plus flexibility is key!

  • I run a 4.79 but its been on and off I've been lifting a lot lately and not sure if I keep building upper body if it will take of alittle

  • This got me a 4.36 at Bowling Green :)

  • @thegolfguy1234567 well I was in 4th grade but I'm in high school now

  • @415kobe ?? 50 yeards 8 seconds? That's slow man. What grade you in?

  • can you use a track stance when running the 40?

  • @walterjb14 He has another video for running.

  • what if this is a laser 40 at a combine

  • @trainingwitheps thanks man we had 50 Yard dash in my football try outs I ran it in 8.00 seconds I set a team and school record thanks I appreciate it i passed also
