@skiesstarry I refused to watch Labyrinth when I was growing up, preferring The Dark Crystal. I'm almost 29 and I now watched it for the first time. Indeed I was deprived but by my own doing. Now, I have seen the light! :)

Many other movies came out at the same time as Labyrinth, Such as Top Gun, because of this Labyrinth didn't do as well, but is now a Cult Classic

I don't get why this movie didn't do well when it came out; you had Jim Henson's creativity, you had David Bowie acting AND singing, you had a million funny puppets, what more do you need?

@imajuggalette27 I saw this movie with my mother last year, and I don't know about you have to grow up with it to appreciate it but I definitely think it's one of those movies not to watch with your parents because she just didn't get into it, whole way through she complained it was boring, it was slow, she was a brat, David Bowie was weird, etc., but this movie was where I first got interested in David Bowie so I'll always be grateful for it. :)
