This is way better (I think) because when I made that first Lincecum video I'd only made really slow-moving videos (a number of them set to slow-moving piano pieces by Bix Beiderbecke) and I literally didn't know how to speed things up, visually. I've been very slowwwwwly figuring it out!

in the 1913 picture, is christy 3rd from the right, in the row second from the top? and is mcgraw the one holding the kid on the bottom? yes, i'd love to know who everyone is in this pic! a great book to read about their time is The Player, by Philip Seib.

re finding that picture, maybe it's better you didn't, that's nightmare stuff, seriously. i think she may have forgotten to wear a certain female undergarment, which in her case is just about mandatory, lol. also there may have been some kind of gravitational anomaly going on there, on her right side, oy!
