Just watched this film on a flight fro Dar es Salaam to Doha. I love Mauritanian music but my Arabic wasn't good enough to understand the film properly. But the passion and rigour of the performers - and their commitment to teaching the music well - comes across. Excellent documentary and thanks for posting this short intro!
