@brownedoggg There are some nice photos in the video called "Slim Dusty - Trucks On The Track ". We passed a few with 5 gravel tippers on the back. Like the bloke said the istances are huge so just "load up".
Just imagine driving one and having to stop quickly. Best of luck. They get "right of way". We usually just pull over and let them go by. Otherwise you will lose the windscreen. Even stopped we broke one on the Sturt Stony Desert. 400Kms to the next town.

i was a truckdriver in the usa did all 48 states ,moved to the uk and now i am homesick and want to drive truck again

@brownedoggg they just moved a over size load thur my town it was almost as long a football field it weight in at a big 375 ton's had well over 30 axle's so here in the USA we haul big loads also

I've lived in the US my whole life, never saw a truck pull more than 2 trailers. Granted, on average there's probably worse traffic and crazier (read: idiot) drivers out here, and the terrain varies a lot out.

in Australia we pull up to 4 trailers and their Tri axle,,,,some are rated at 150 tonne,,,,
its not because were good or that its just because its a long way from one end to the other,,,,,so you might as well load up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
