Written and recorded in 1988. I used two different and slightly out of tune electric guitars run through an Ibanez Tube Screamer plugged directly into the 4 track to get a grungey sound. The guitars, bass and drums took up all four tracks and I wanted to do three part harmony on the chorus so I transfered the original instrumental mix to a cassette deck and then recorded that back to two tracks on the 4 track (which is why the instruments sound a bit flangey) and then used the remaining two tracks to do the vocals via ping-ponging, recording one vocal on one track, recording that track to the second track along with a live vocal and then recording the lead vocal (which is also one of the harmony vocals) over the first vocal track. The lead guitar was dropped onto the lead vocal track.
