@gregrutz actually there is some evidence that neaderthals may have interbred with homosapiens before they died off. so we probably are related to them. they were physically larger and required more calories (energy) to live and so they basically starved. Homosapiens were smaller and required less food to survive. And then took over.

why does it have to be one or the other? can't you believe in God and also trust science? If there is a God, would He want us to have such a narrow view of the great world He supposedly created? The Bible is just a book, spirituality should be what's inside you that connects you to the rest of humanity, and maybe even to God. Why deny evidence when it's right in front of your face? It's embarassing for a human being to be so stupid.
