no its not seasonal entirely ... they need to look into microbial issues too... parasites go along w/ this problem AND DONT use antibiotics for worms, bacteria, fungus but if you have parasites like ...blastocyst homins llook into antibiotic use..
Hello there... First, thanks for being so open with your thyroid issue. Second, I tried your web site and could not get to it. Third, I have been on synthroid for decades. I would like to try Armour. Now that you have been on it would you still recommend it?
go to tropical traditions . com and get some organic coconut oil and get 2 tablespoons min. into your diet. it really helps. its the only oil processed directly by the thyroid....jump starts it if you will. I mix mine into pudding so i dont taste it. I cant use the meds anymore. so i regualate with food.
I just felt compelled to make a comment. I too suffer day in and day out, I'm tearing up just writing this. I'm on an EXTREMELY HIGH DOSE OF SYNTHROID, 225 MCG! The fatigue has gotten better, but the depression, worse! Im a female, so it has also screwed up the reproductive system so bad that I was hospitalized, 3 days. Ive been deeply affective by this. I have Hashimotos, an extreme form. Easy, just put me on synthroid, ILL BE OKAY.I wish that were the answer. My mood changes like the wind.
congrats on being a dad. please update! I will be starting a vlog soon regarding my hypothyroidism and treatment. At the moment i'm only on t4 meds and my doctor ALSO treats by the g**d*** TSH. as i'm sure you already know, it's been hell and i'm feeling more useless by the minute. BUT thankfully i have made an appointment with a doctor who will hopefully get me on armour or better treatment according to my symptoms rather than my TSH.
I noticed you said that you felt lethargic during the winter...
The last time I had a blood test which was in a winter month, my doctor saw I was really low in vitamin d. After taking a D supplement I felt much better. Cod liver oil is a good source of a and d.
How long have you been taking the pills or what not for thyroid disease? I feel your pain. Im young and have it and there is so many other problems that it causes and its just hard. I have been taking pills for it for... 2 years i think. So keep in there.

Get a male hormome profile and estradiol levels checked as well. Low test/high E2 (estradiol) can wreck havoc on a man's body and mind.
