I just joined a mumble server (like vent or teamspeak, but infinitely better because of near-zero delay, lossless compression of audio and hundreds of publicly available servers) and these guys asked me if I play minecraft. They ask if I saw the new 1.8 update, which I hadn't at the time, so I joined their server. Within a few minutes they handed me creative mode and let me loose upon the untouched landscape which was their server. I flew myself to the nearest hilltop, and let me tell you it was just so epic that I instantly visualised the idea for the most epic castle ever.
here is that castle. it reminds me of the Niveus custom map for Crysis, or the castle marketplace in Zelda in some parts of it. I'm really proud of it, it's by far the best creation I've ever made in minecraft.

how did you get the crafting bench to move

@barretthekid that was my friend the owner of the server who did that. it's just a piston inside the wall attached to the crafting bench that the lever activates. sneaky, huh? it's one of my favourite parts of the castle

@super6plx do you think you could do a vid on how you made that sand trap thing at 10:00

@Neboh420 that wasn't mine ;p but I know how he made it, all you have to do is have a line of redstone dust touching a row of pistons, then have the pistons stick to sandstone and use a lever to activate it
