see? its the same problem. he claims we have will, yet everything is ultimately created by allah. there is only few room for interpration. what certainly follows is, everything we do, ultimately comes into being because of allah. in a sense we are a simulation and no matter what we "wish for" since even that wish is because of "allahs will". for example even if someone acts "against the will", its because of "allahs will"...
the physical forces that give rise to our brain processes and ultimately therefore to consciousness. we have no control over them. look up the latest research. in certain situations, they can already predict the future conscious decision, the subject is not aware of.
claiming "allahs will" is only about "allowing" phenomena to occur and not to ultimately create them, is just escapism, since nothing allegedly happens but with "his" will. that is, "he" must "will" the forces too.
it holds at court in the "western" world. i suppose it holds even at court where "lex naturalis" is being applied. if allah created this than its objective even from a "cosmic perspective"...
"Knowledge of what someone will or won't do is not the point."
well, if i know someone is about to commit a heinous crime and i dont counteract, im being held responsible too. this is a very high moral standard.
the "evil" comes with the forces you dont keep addressing.
1) That's a subjective argument. We believe Allah has specifically told people not to do evil, so if they perform evil, it is entirely upon them. Allowance does not entail responsibility, since each individual is responsible for himself.
2) Knowledge of what someone will or won't do is not the point. The point is, the food itself is not evil. Providing someone with the means is not inherently evil.
