Does Digital TV Control Your Mind Thru The Flicker Rate

There is a movie that came out back in 1981 that was about models being killed after having their figures made perfect by a Plastic Surgeon. They had to be perfect before being up loaded on a super computer for commercials. The name of the movie...."LOOKER" Are we being controled by our TV sets with a curtain flecker rate? Is this the reason for the massive push to Digital Television Sets? When Mc Cain was re-elected to the senate ,it made me wonder. Mc Cain is Pro- Amesty and Arizona just past a law against iilegals in that state. Makes me go...Hummmmm.
