  • This isn't from LWT - it's from the then-new Channel 4, and is very typical of early C4 breaks during the Equity dispute (indeed, you were lucky to get a whole break full of proper ads at the time, with many regions showing a lot of ultra-cheap regional ads, Public Information Films or simply going with a Follows Shortly slide and some music).

  • Thanks for the info. Will update.

  • I Know that Guy and He Appeared in the Movie Crocodile Dundee with a Black Thong Leotard in it

  • Didn't poor Leo get dragged by a couple of cars too?

It amazes me how much Channel Four has changed. They USED to be an alternative to the rest. Now they're just the same as the rest; r

    Ratings chasers!

Anyway, do you recall the name of Hogan's mate with the wonky mouth, and beanie hat? I think it was Doug. I remember him telling a story about when he was in a drunken stupor, and a sexy girl came onto him, but because he imagined she was a dog licking his face, so he told her to get lost.

  • Ha!Leo Wanker had to be hosed down with a fire extinguisher after every "stunt",including after running into a butcher's shop and shouting"Yer sausages are full of sawdust!".Do you remember "Donger",the cop with the computerised gut?Ch4 was great, then.

  • He was very funny. Anyone else remember Leo Wanker. How the hell did Channel Four get away with it?

  • when did Orson Welles stop doing the Sandeman's ads?

  • He was very funny then.

  • he was funny then
