This ad helped get males 'into' choccolate but associating it with good, solid, heterosexual boy stuff: trucks, leather jackets, forklifts, cuties in sports cars. Up til the late 1970s men only bought the stuff to give to women as a present. Actually eating it yourself might have looked a bit too Larry Grayson/Mr Humphries

@Cryten1974 Martin Fisk is in this advert, Stuart Mungall was in the news, like leezal, you have just accused someone of killing someone, who didn't kill anyone! Stuarts advert didn't appear until around 1984 ('B' registration yellow Scammell on a little red and white ferry in Stuart's advert, issued from August 1st, 1984 until July 31st, 1985) This advert pre-dates Stuart's by at least 7 years! (The old 'P' suffix is on the registration plate, issued August 1st, 1975 until July 31st, 1976).

@leezaal you did accuse an innocent man, this may be a yorkie advert and it may have a lorry driver in it, but it is NOT the advert with the man who was accused of killing his wife, that one is a totally different yorkie advert. I made the same mistake on here a few minutes ago

The Yorkie actor who killed his wife is Stuart Mungall. Martin Fisk is gay so he would not have a wife anyway.
