Wow. You don't realize the impact Henson had on your life until you are a 41 year old man sitting here with tears running down your face while watching The Muppet Show.

Is there anybody who didn't cry while seeing this? Just think about that...Here we are, a bunch of grown people, all feeling the same way about a man who died years ago. So very sad, but beautiful at the same time. Because of this one man, we have all laughed and cried equally hard. This one man touched us all. In the end, Thats the True worth of a man.

These millions of tears are for you Jim. Just as the laughs before them. Thank you for everything.

As lovely as the song was, what really got me were these lines:

"Do you have something silly to end with?" and

"Because that's the way the boss would want it."

Really, that's the essence of Jim. :')

I was a baby when Jim died, but his work lived on and brought wonder to my childhood, and even to this day continues to do so. We all still love you, Jim, and will forever.

I always was a little proud of the fact that I shared a birthday with Mr. Henson. The day I learned that he died hit me especially hard. No matter what, he will always hold a special place in my heart for the joy of watching the characters and stories he gave us. He will ALWAYS be missed.
