@MRaverz Tax as in Taxes ..............
-
@MRaverz I wonder if you could offer any alternative take on what the fuck he is doing all day to steal all that tax !! Oh by the way has anyone seen Vince "saving private britain" Cable or has he emigrated with his big fat pension. lets not forget how he was going to destroy tory donor murdock until cameroon slapped his arse ................
-
@MRaverz Thanks but no thanks. You are perfectly entitled to your own views, of course. However, if you are honestly interested in being a better advert for the Lib Dems, I suggest you learn some manners and lose the condescension. The pomposity and vanity you display here is in poor taste.
-
@MRaverz Do you seriously think that your kind of head in the sand, patronising attitude is going to woo me back to the Lib Dems? And stop trying to use the argument that this is Tory led coalition as if that somehow excuses the Lib Dems. The Tories need the Lib Dems more than the Lib Dems need the Tories and frankly most people can only see the Lib Dems acquiescing in a Thatcherite agenda. They hold the balance of power and are doing nothing to protect vulnerable people.
-
@MRaverz How is it an improvement on the current system? Pray tell? The right policy for now? We will get out of recession by using the skills and talents of people, not by denying intelligent and talented people from lower income families a place in higher education by pricing them out. And, if it is such an improvement on the current system, then why did Clegg and the Lib Dems so vehemently campaign against ANY (repeat ANY) tuition fees only 11 months ago?
-
@MRaverz What's Tory about him? Well tripling university tuition fees will exclude many students from poorer or modest backgrounds from going to university. Clegg campaigned against tuition fees more than anyone else but when he gets his ministerial limo and his place at the Cabinet table he not only drops his opposition to tuition fees, he votes to triple them, Pious, self-righteous hypocrite that he is. You poor deluded naive kid, you believe everything you read in Focus!

@MRaverz Read the comment from npe1. That's what I'm talking about. You may be in denial, but countless others are not. And spouting such pompous nonsense as '...that shows me how ignorant you are of politics' is pathetic and nothing more than a petty jibe in retaliation for someone having a different view. Face it, thousands of Lib-Dem voters feel betrayed, including me. Actions speak louder than words. You're not convincing anyone.
-
@MRaverz The Lib Dems have spent the past 2 decades pretending to be 'the real alternative', but as we see, now that they are in government they are just just reactionary and right wing. Clegg is a Tory - nothing more, nothing less. He has taken a once progressive party in a totally new and reactionary direction. If you brought back Paddy Ashdown I might consider voting for you again.
-
@MRaverz What Lib Dem policies would they be? Tuition fees? Scrapping EMA? VAT increase? Letting the bankers off? How ironic for a cabinet that contains Lib Dems that the most liberal cabinet minister is probably Ken Clarke!
-
Shameful Lib Dems. Where have your principles gone?
Nick Clegg for PM...
but please PLEASE don't get in bed with Conservatives if a hung parliament is in order.
