Learn about fetal surgery - ex utero intrapartum therapy (the EXIT procedure) - and other treatment for a CCAM.

Parents, nurses and doctors at the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment talk about fetal lung abnormalities like congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation (CCAM) and bronchopulmonary sequestration (BPS). The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is making great strides in fetal surgery and the treatment of children with these conditions. Comprehensive services range from prenatal evaluation and diagnosis to treatment, including invasive fetal therapy and open fetal surgery.
