Volunteers from the Bank of America help River Legacy Foundation clean out the excessive algae in the pond located next to River Legacy Living Science Center. This important environmental project will aid with the habitat and water quality of the pond that is used for environmental education programs and field investigations. Once the algae is removed, aquatic plants such as lilies will be planted. The Pond Restoration Project is being led by River Legacy Naturalist Misty Wellner and Armando Belmares, an Arlington Parks and Recreation Department landscape technician. Thank you!
