Presurgical Tour - Short stay at Children's National

A child facing surgery confronts more than surgery itself. Many questions race through their mind...questions like: "Will I wake up during surgery?" and "When will I be able to see my mom and dad?" This online tour will prepare you and your child for surgery.

This tour includes information about what to expect when your child is admitted for surgery. In addition to this tour, we strongly recommend that you bring your child to the hospital for the live tour as well.

Our aim is to make all visitors feel as comfortable as possible and minimize the stress and anxiety a family faces when their child needs an operation.
