On January 20, 2010, Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner and Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher—competing to be the Democrats nominee for the U.S. Senate Seat being vacated by Republican George Voinovich—came together at a Candidates Forum hosted by the Hamilton County Democratic Womens Caucus, Hamilton County Democratic Party, and Hamilton County Democratic Forum. This is the first primary event at which Brunner and Fisher have appeared together, and the organizers of the event made great effort to let everyone know that it was not a debate.
Questions asked and answered in this video:
- Brunner: What are three specific issues in your platform that make you stand out?
- Brunner: Why will you have a better chance of beating Rob Portman than Lee Fisher?
- Fisher: Why will you have a better chance of beating Rob Portman than Jennifer Brunner?
- Fisher: Tell us two reasons that we should vote for you and not the other candidate?
- Brunner: What strategies are you planning to overcome the Republican onslaught?
- Fisher: What strategies are you planning to overcome the Republican onslaught?
ok so Jennifer Brunner thinks punishing murder is bad and thinks that transvestites should be allowed to adopt children. GOTCHA.
