dude do u know if i install a pioneer deh-5200 instead of the original cd player, can i still change the trip computer settings?

You need an interface adapter to change board computer settings.

@adioperator kk i found one but will i be able to enter the display's option for the car after that? i read that if i press fast forward and fast rewind for 2+ secs that i can enter the menu but i tried that now and it doesnt work..does that only work after installing the interface adapter?

You have to try with interface installed, i hope it will work.
