  • Dr. Blair Grubb is the best Heart/EPS/POTS/NCS/DYSAUYONOMIA specialist Dr. Ever EVER EVER!!! He took 3 hrs with me during my first visit! Is was worth the 9 mos. it took for me to get in to see him! He even sent me a book after my first and third visits !!! One was "when bad things happen to good people" the other was some stories he's written! He's wonderful and takes his time with every one of his patients! Dr. Beverly K. Is his partner and confidant and I trust her and him and "Harry", the

  • @09090520 what anti-seizure med? I started klonopin after a grand mal and I haven't noticed any improvement in my POTS symptoms. Mestinon didn't help either. Recently started DDAVP and hoping it helps. What is your med combo?

  • @09090520

There is something called autonomic seizures.

Look up a dissertation titled "AUTONOMIC FUNCTION IN EPILEPSY" by Dr Patrick Adjei.

Could you say the names of medications you are taking? Tnx

  • I am disappointed in Dr. Grubb. He knows the connection to POTS and Lyme disease yet failed to reveal this information to me as a mother of a chronically ill child. He never suggested a test for Lyme. Years later I found out my son had POTS because of Lyme disease and coinfections. He if finally better after seeking care outside of UTMC.

  • Thanks to Dr. Grubb and his team, i was diagnosed with POTS in 2000 after a lifetime of symptoms and 2 years of intense increase in symptoms & testing. Don't stop searching when you KNOW something is wrong with you, just because everyone says "it's all in your head" or it's depression and anxiety. Those are just symptoms of the problem. You know your own body better than anyone else and know when something is just not "right" with it. There is hope for an answer and treatment for the problem.

  • Wonderful to see Dr. Grubb on TV. He saved my life in 2001 by diagnosing me with a condition others missed (and finding a drug treatment that works!)

    A wonderful, gentle, giving man.

Google him to read some of his scholarly works, as well as amazingly emotional short stories.

  • Well done!

I've never understood why anti-seizure med in combination with a med to regulate salt and another to regulate blood pressure has made a difference in my life! Little improvement in the syncope occurred until starting the anti-seizure med. Any ideas?
