After the 6th inning during the May 26 Phillies vs Mets night game, the Mets and Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon gave away 25 Major League Baseball 2K10 Xbox 360 games, each signed by a Mets player. The games were donated by Microsoft Xbox and 2K Sports and the winners were Sailors and Marines in town for Fleet Week 2010. Many were from the USS Iwo Jima, the largest amphibious assault ship in the world, up from Norfolk, VA, NS and docked at Pier 88 for the festivities. This video provides a glimpse of the event. 25 additional signed games will be shipped to our Marines, Sailors and other warriors in AFG and IRQ. Thanks for Microsoft Xbox, 2K Sports and the New York Mets for facilitating this event.
