It is a trained mind set that when someone wants to sew all they think of is a quilt. There is so much more to sewing than a quilt. I posted another video showing a group of senior citizens I worked with making hats for the kids. You cannot cover a bald head with a quilt, though you can cover a cold body. Little boys love these hats and to bring a smile to them during their treatment is a gift from God.

thanks for this video. I was thinking of starting a charity quilt group (we have a guild here.. but I don't have the time for it.)

Now you have me thinking about a sewing group that doesn't need to be limited to just quilts...(i.e. walker bags, caps etc.) thank you for giving me something to chew on.
