your opinion of an HMO is apparently not first-hand experience. Most HMO's don't even have board members and stock holders. Insurance Companies pay billions of dollars to health care providers because people do not take care of themselves, or because they cost the insurance company money by having to pay for the abuse of prescription drugs. Insurance companies take risks, you should respect them. When they raise rates it is due to TOO MANY CLAIMS, RE: fraud and abuse!!!!

Compared to the HMO system which were pushed through by Nixon (who was GOP & conservative BTW) Obamacare seems like a better alternative. All HMOs really do is make their board members & stock holders money at the expense of the US population.

The Healthcare trhat Hillary and Obama drools over has become unsustainable in the "example" or Medquest which has State of Hawaii 2 billion in the hole(and growing)

Medicine under my Quest-Ace is limited to birth control and a few type of antibiotics

As a Diabetic,Asthmetic having high blood presure and high cholestrol I'm fucked and I simply wasn't taking them cause I cant afford it

Worst yet my old doctor/hospital wont see me anymore cause Medquest ripped them off

TO Clarify,

I am a member of the State of Hawaii MedQuest Program that HillaryCare and ObamaCare is based on

IN the begining it was full medical and full dental with a slidig cost co-pay

Then the cut dental for adults as the State's cost of reimbursment was going over budget

Then the cut out working people from the proram and shifted it to their Human Health Services (Welfare)

They moe recently cut children dental and medical and now let working people like me have 10 doctor visits(maybe)

The Human Centipede is also on DVD and is in the $723,0000 range in DVD sales so far

The Feds telling doctors and hospitals what they can and cant do,whoi they can and cant see, and how much they can charge..or even if they will get pay through HMO "healthcare reform"

problem is hospitals and doctrs constitutionally cannot be forced to do do things the way States like Hawaii abuses its law vs licensing powers on the last 5% that survive medquest
