This isn't the first rap as far back as I can think of. "Pournami neram paavai orutthi minnal polae munnal sendral...." song (not sure which movie though) with Chandrasekar and Rajiv is a far more older rap than this one.

the picture name is vickram, an it was not a rap song, but the movie was a bit like moden movie in the 80s. & the song was a fast song for llayaraja.

@prabhudion You must be to the level of Ilayaraja to comment on him. Do you know the meaning of RAP by any means? RAP is an abbreviation of Rapid Action Poem. Which literally means to put rhymes in faster phase. And Ilayaraja has proven by supporting the song with metronome in BG.
