  • @FuckinBowDown1 Also the animals we eat don't come from an ecosystem they are bred in their 100s of millions in factory farms so it would be far from the 'exact same thing' as removing a lion from 'the wild'. The impression that the animals we exploit for food and other products being part of a happy ecosystem is perpetuated to try and keep many in the dark about the cruel realities of factory farming. Perhaps you are under this impression? But factory farms are very different to 'the wild'

  • @FuckinBowDown1 Our being on the top of the food chain doesn't provide justification for the torture of other sentient beings. It may for other animals with a less sophisticated sense of morality but it is precisely because of our morality that we cannot justify causing such suffering simply because we are on top of the food chain.

  • @awesome399 You're right - Humans are much more sophisticated than any animal. That's why we're at the top of the food chain.

We spent millions of years fighting our asses off to get there and now that we are, why then, should we eat tomatos and tofu?

Think about it - If you take a lion out of the wild then you fuck up an entire ecosystem, right? If humans stop eating meat then it would be almost the exact same thing as removing a top predater from the wild except on a much grander scale.

  • @FuckinBowDown1 In answer to your questions no. Humans have a much more sophisticated sense of morality than other animals and that's why they can make a choice that tries to minimise suffering e.g. not eating animals and supporting their suffering in factory farms. And I never said there weren't alot of humans suffering in the world and I try to make choices to stop that also. Humans are obviously capable of dcaring both about humans and non-human animals it isn't one or the other.

  • @awesome399 Sooo. . . .Does that mean we should stop bears from eating meat? After all they are built more like an herbavore (that's not how you spell that is it? . . Aw well)

Should we stop monkeys from eating other monkeys? Why not? They seem to have both a culture and a sense of morality.

You know there are alot of HUMANS suffering in the world - remember - Why don't you focus on them instead of shoving your no meat beliefs down my meat-clogged throat.

  • Message to vegans. Quit shoving your beliefs down our throats- Sincerely, Non-vegans.

  • P: People

    E: Eating

    T: Tastey

    A: Animals

  • gotta love how they care more about a turkey then the millions of people that die a day

  • @FuckinBowDown1 The way we treat animals to turn them into food cannot be justified. The veal industry and many other similar industries are sources of incomprehensible amounts of gratuitous suffering in the world. Those of us who have alternative sources of nutrition should not impose this suffering on other sentient beings. In my opinion, as humans continue to evolve morally and think ethically about the consequences of their actions more and more we shall see a trend towards vegetarianism.

  • @awesome399 We humans have no natural enemies, which means we are at the top of the food chain, so why shouldn't we eat meat?

If you want be a vegan and/or vegetarian then more power to you, but stop trying to force you're beliefs down my throat. Isn't it bad enough that you virtually ruined the veal industry?

BTW, I thought this video was fucking hilarious.

    Gobble gobble gobble, bitches!
