@neverkissanangryfish how did you train your JRT? mine is 12 weeks now, and he can't do anything. he is way too hyper at puppy education class at petsmart, he can't focus.any tips?

I remember when my dog was that age and she NEVER barked. And we were all like oh my gosh she is so quiet this is weird!!! Yeah...now she never stops barking.

@tgolding27 My JRT, Halo, also went to school at petsmart. I heard her barking one time continuously so every time she did, I said "good girl" and she knows that "good girl" means she gets a treat (which egged her on to do it more). So I then began to tell her "Speak!" as she did it and I gave her a treat. She catches on very fast and after a few times she was barking everytime I said "Speak". :)

Jack Russell's are awesome. I have a 4 year old girl and she's insanely smart. Understands "go to bed", "stay", "sit", "let's go outside", "move", "wait", "gimme your ball" and a ton of other things. All you have to do is work with them and show them love....they'll do whatever you want.
Oh, and my little girl looks just like yours. Her brown patch is on her butt though.
