Another jam-a-matic? Maybe next year they will fix it like Obama .

@Thunkful2 Personally, I have never had a semi-auto misfire unless the ammunition was faulty which is the same with my revolers. Revolvers are simpler and have less parts to move so they are generally more reliable. However, semi-auto can be very reliable. I have shot many many rounds through larger pistols in various calibers without any issues. Sometimes, designers push the envelope in making guns so small and light which give the tight tolerances.

BTW, thanks again for a most excellent review.

U obviously know much more than I. But R not all semi-auto pistols prone to jam or misfire occasionally? What are the odds of the best pistol not firing a round? If you fired the best pistol 1000X, wud it fail at least once? I am thinking that a revolver is more likely to fire, tho cartridges get hit w/out firing from time to time -- yet no jam follows. On the other hand, it seems to me that revolvers are more awkward to carry concealed without a shoulder holster under a coat.
I bought one of these bad boys first generation. The first hundred rounds I put through it were hit or miss (five or six stovepipes overall). What you need to keep in mind when firing this pistol: 1. You can not limp wrist. It's a lightweight gun and needs resistance to cycle. 2. You have to break it in. (Applies to most new firearms). 3. It's a little picky about the ammo it likes. Practice with the ammo, before you carry and depend on it. Adjusting for this I've fired 250+ rounds flawlessly.

@Buggbytes Thank you for your comment. I always keep those things in mind especially the break in period. I put at least 200 rounds through them before I consider them broke in. I have fired 500+ rounds through the weapon at this point. I have had no problems with the weapon after milling work on the feeding ramp and the assembly pins were replaced with new knurled ones from DB. See new vids. Did your assembly pins back out? DB recommends replacement on DB9 prior to YA9000.

@nighteyeson DB has now come out with new assembly pins which are knurled that corrected the problem.

I have a YAO3xx DB9 as well. So far I have not had a single FTF or FTE.... (knock on wood) Seems that the assembly pin IS moving somewhat, but not terrible. I was SO IMPRESSED with the accuracy of this firearm. I would say I can shoot it better than my full sized glock. Thanks for making the video, though I feel the FTF were due to grip or limp wristing or possibly dirty feed ramp.

@bobdobalita I sent the weapon back to the factory. They did what I would call substantial milling to the feeding ramp. No FTF or FTE after the repair work was done. This suggest a problem with the gun was not limp wristing. The DB9 was throughly cleaned and oiled properly after every range session with the same issues except for the initial 100 rounds. Unfortunately, the pin continues to come out. The DB9 is certainly easy to shoot accurately. Thanks for the comment.
