Hi again everyone!

To continue on the first open letter on music student/client search, I am also searching for the right job opportunity or position for me. I would like something outside the health care industry if at all possible. (If not, I would probably accept it, provided that it fits the description of my ideal work environment described later. However, I MUCH PREFER non-health care industries.) I would love to try my hand at retail, education, and organizations/industries where language skills are needed (translation services, language tutoring, etc). I am also interested in working with anything relating to literature or books—library work or working in a bookstore. I'm also interested in working with pets/animals. I am especially interested in music and the arts and entertainment industry. I would be very interested in a clerical or secretarial position in an arts/music/entertainment-related company or any other positions involving those industries. My ideal work environment is that which is stable, friendly (preferably smaller and more intimate environment), supportive, respectful, positive, flexible, open-minded with a spirit of open-door policy, and encourages employees to progress.

I have a lot to offer in terms of my skills and experience. I am very comfortable with standard computer skills—Internet savvy, word processing (Microsoft Word), and typing speed of 96 wpm. In terms of language skills, I am bilingual, completely fluent in English and Indonesian. I also have knowledge of Spanish and French—mostly the ability to read and write in those languages. During my academic years I excelled in language-related classes [(English) creative writing, Spanish, German, and French], and earned a membership in the Foreign Language Honor Society. Beyond the academic walls, I am looking forward to put these skills in real-life work situation.

I am also friendly and easy-going and prefer the company of similar people, and when these are added into the work environment, we can all help improve productivity and loyalty.

As a musician/creative type, I possess an advantage over most other people in the skills that are transferable to other fields. I have whole-brain advantage (in terms of creativity and analytical skills), dedicated, motivated, self-starter, adaptable, versatile, always open to learning new things, highly organized (having dealt with tasks and projects requiring high accuracy) able to handle projects over an expanded period of time, and teamwork/collaborative skills.

I would really appreciate your help and be very grateful if you know of any job leads or resources as I've described earlier. I am obviously looking for positions in the immediate Inland Empire area (East and West Valleys), but I would especially appreciate job leads in the LA area as I am looking to relocate there within the next year—God willing. This has been my plan for many years, and I want to see this finally come to fruition.

I am also open to barter arrangements. I'm willing to trade my services, skills, etc., for housekeeping, marketing assistance, Internet business-related tasks (web design, coding), administrative/clerical help, copywriting, etc.

If you need any help within my capacity, I'd be happy to do that.

Again, thanks so much for your help and blessings to you!

EDIT: (not mentioned in the audio) CV/
résumé available upon request.
