Thank you all for the responses! To answer, Ticket (a.k.a Tickee Louise) was most likely a lab/pit mix. She was abused and abandoned as a young dog, and we adopted her via the internet. She was in our lives for 10 years. We loved her so much! You can see how sweet and gentle she was. We feel so lucky to have had her as a member of our family.
Mango the budgie/parakeet has a live-in girlfriend now, so he's not lonely. We also adopted a new puppy that looks and acts a lot like Ticket.

Sadly, Ticket the dog passed away a month ago. We miss her so much!! :(
