US Army used helicopters in pacific. Sikorsky R-4 was used save downed pilots. Germans weren't making jetpacks.. i dont know where did you get that info but it's not true.
As for Germans. Maybe they should have build trucks instead of helicopters so they could have had motorized army. During the war almost 60% of wehrmacht artillery and supplies were moved with horses.

And as America was working on this, Germany was making Helicopters like Focke Achgelis Fa 223 and Jetpacks, shame they didnt have many of them LOL

Great Vid!! The Army never used those trucks under water in combat conditions due to the gear boxes were getting water in them..They just finally built a Land water craft to eliminate the headaches all together...Gunney
