  • Dont feel sorry for us... we are just like you, the only thing different is that we have a different story to tell. Its not a happy story but its our story. We just want to feel like normal. God gives us two choices.1) Lay down and give up..be scared all the time... play the pitty card 2) fight for what is ours.. our lives..be strong and know your not alone and face what is the truth and what is real.

I chose option 2. people say its easier said then done... I say its easier done then said.

  • Honor Thy Children.

Theres nothing worse than the death of a child.

Things never get back to the way they were.

Thou shall not cause thy children pain.

God bless you angels, I love you.

  • I can relate to this song and it has inspired me to live up to my title: survivor. I survived all the abuses there can be, and by people who I was supposed to trust. I endured 13 years, full of near-death experiences. But too many kids weren't as lucky. This song makes me think of them, and how I can use my experiences to help prevent this. I know how it feels, and I owe my life to surviving this, and I am not going to waste it. Don't pity us, because we are strong. We survived, and live.

  • GOD DOES NOT OVER LOOK IT!! These sick people who abuse their children will have to answer to him one day.

  • This song was very, very sad. I cannot fathom how anybody could absue their children. I will say a prayer for any and all abused children (and adults too) tonight and pray that God delivers them from their abusers.

And to any of you who were and are begin abused remember this; you are not alone. God is always there and he will always love you.

  • this song really makes me cry...cause there are millions of people in the world who abuse there kids and think nothing of it like the sick son of a bitches they are. they need to be shot.

  • @flyleafangirl first off: what you claim was the eleventh commandment was not a new commandment, but an encompassing answer to the meaning of the original commandments which had been abused and misused by the pharisees.

    Second: ephesians 6:4

Third: the concept that blasphemy is composed of suggesting traits of god that are not expressly stated biblically is the sole reason for degradation of scripture, for examples of righteous men doing so see: psalms/job/christ.

  • My 3 children want to perform this song for our provinces yearly festivals..they are 8, 7, and 4.

  • I think this song is biblical. Because if you follow the "greatest commandment" to love... Then you would honor your children with love and biblical discipline as God also discilines His children. But abuse is not biblical.

  • @flyleafangirl He is not trying to have the authority of God. He is saying that God doesn't over look the abuse and neglect. They will be dealt with and IF there were 11 Commandments that should be the 11th.

  • While the trite little message of this song is cute and all, it's also blasphemous from a christian standpoint. The eleventh commandment was "love one another". So, this would be the twelfth, and that would give Collin Raye the authority of God. I love it when "Christians" view their own "faith" as a novelty.

  • @ambaybay777 ur an increadable person. and i admire people like u who choose to come out of it as a stronger person. God bless you!
