  • from what i no, heavy weight = fast from stopped but lower top speed, light weights = slow start but a faster top speed, so to get the highest top speed should i get the lightest weight possible?

  • @mawer08dude YOU ARE RIGHT AND WRONG. what you say is exactly correct, but you have to remember the engine powerband. Lighter weights may rev the engine faster, but you could get to top speed at 30mph. THe moped has two gears, low and high. you want the weights to keep the best speed in low gear and then shift smooth to high gear. Your weight and engine will determine whats best and you may change the variator weights a dozen times. RH DSD

  • @DIOSpeedDemon my scooter is yamaha mio 115 what combination of grams do i use?

    its only stock...

  • @MrShiro05 You have to change the gram weights according to your body weight, bike power and riding style. I have never heard of a mio 115 as they dont sell them here. Start with all 9 gram weights and change three weights to tens or 8's and see what happens. It take alot of experimenting to get the right weights for your power range. RHDSD

  • How is Power constant... ? Your engine runs at a single speed? I comment what your doing dude, but your word bumbling and wrong information helps nobody. NB Racing

  • @MrShiro05 im from the philippines and we have a lot of mio's here and im an owner to. my mio is 150cc. bu when my mio is stock i used 6g and 9g it good in acceleration and topspeed try it. the ordinary mio stock roller ball is straight 12g ...

  • You know, this is a stupid idiot design for a variable transmission... instead of making it automatic by using weights and a ramp plate, they should of made it manual with a brake line like steel cable to push it outward and inward, attached to the handle bars, or to the throttle. To ride, you'd rev the engine to optimal torque, and use your variable transmision level to have a full range of speeds instead of just two.

  • hey i have a brand new belt and it flipped over i dont know how....do u have anyclue how that could have happend?...i was thinking mayb i didnt break it in correctly

  • would changeing my weights help give me more torque? because top speed isnt a concern for me but climbing hills is.
