@MrSalenga Trust me. This is not a $3k civic. The bottom end is probably worth 3 times that. Total it probably came out to around 25k+ depending on wether he did all the work himself or not.

A 10 sec honda is not easy to build or that affordable. Niether is any 10 sec domestic or euro car. Dont be mad at me, im just a realist.

@2chicks0cups I never said 40k. And you bought your car off of craigslist, already built. Of course a car is going to be cheap if it's modded AND used.

I'm talking buying a junkyard/used honda, and doing the work yourself.

Motor work/tune= 15k or more

Chassis (cage), wheels, tires, all this costs money. Parts aren't cheap, and if you cant wrench yourself, labor isn't cheap. You don't just go buy a 200$ civic, put 3k into it and run low 10s.

@zunetrav4 ya man as i can see many other ppl that own dirt cheap cars that run 10s have alreaady commented back to you on this but dood really jokes aside if you think it cost 40k to build a 10second car ppl have been fucing ripping you off for parts for a long long time specially for a honda i bought a 88 mk3 toyota supra in portland for 4800 bucks that came with a 1jz twin turbo motor swap that ran mid 11s off craigslist

@zunetrav4 LOL 10 second cars are hella ez to build are u joking me dood my alittle above 3k 90 elipse gsx ran 12s with bearly anything done to it and its my DD one of my best friends out here in kent washington builds hondas left and right without even having a job that all run 11s to 10s there cheap ez to find cars plus theres so many fucking ppl the own them the parts are insane cheap and ez to find my be a washgton state thing but if your doing 25k on just a bottomend your fucked lol

i only paid 9,000 for my hatch to run a 10.60 and its been running 5 years strong no issues just replaced the first set of barrings... and that included the price of the car motor, body, ect.... so i seriously dobt it cost him 25k.... unless he is a dumb ass
