On the heels of President Obamas prime time press conference and continued push for comprehensive health care reform, Health Care for America Now (HCAN) and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) launched a $500,000 television advertising campaign in eight states targeting a Senator and seven members of Congress who oppose health care reform legislation. The ad points out that in voting against reform, the members of Congress would allow health insurance companies to continue to deny people coverage for pre-existing conditions.
The issue is pre-exisitng conditions. No easy answer here. I also prefer to not pay for insurance until after I get diagnosed for cancer. Kind of a no brainer.

This is paid for by government employees union dues. Yes, those same government employees who want to keep THEIR Cadillac health plans, but want to throw the rest of us into government health care. Nice...
Good enough for thee, but not for me!
The rest of us have the right to representation too and we are saying NO! We need real reform, not government control!
