I'm from WI and a Packer fan 100%. I grew up with Favre in the team. But with all the drama..agh...he deserves respect and he's gotten it for years. The retirement game that he played was ugly with the Packers, but I do believe the Packers did the right thing. The Pack moved on. The team has to, there's more to a team than the QB and the glitz and glammar of the media solely based on him. I stick to this belief even with a great QB like Aaron Rogers now. :)

@powerpro4 I truly respect your opinion, I hated all the drama too but it was drama Favre did take part in creating. I've had a different feel about his leaving the Packers than say Reggie White did long ago. And when he took to the Vikings...always a Packer? Hmm. An awesome player and fun to watch, but I think it's a little too stretching to call him a pure-blood Packer. And I must disagree, I think we will see a QB that will make the game fun to watch. :) How about that Rogers?

I agree.....Favre is becoming a girly girl waiting to see who will ask her to the high school dance and she will only go with whoever begs the best...thats a bad way to end a really great career.....Mr. Favre, learn a lesson from Michael Jordon and know when its time to walk away and preserve your memory in history. Just a thought from an Eagles fan, lol

What a bunch of haters!!! Favre made the game fun for everybody, despite the risks he took, but that was the thrill of watching him play, and that's the point that alot of you guys are missing!!! Yes, I'm a Packers fan, and I wish none of that drama happened between him and the team when he came out of retirement, but he will ALWAYS be a Green Bay Packer!!! Yeah Brady, Manning, and Roethlisberger are awesome, and I respect them greatly, but we'll never see a QB who made the game fun to watch!!
