Trailer for this 1964 Man from U.N.C.L.E. film. Napoleon Solo recruits a young housewife to stop the assassination of an African leader touring the U.S.
@Splitskirts Yes, of course, just watched "Four Steps" a couple of weeks ago;
I LOVE Luciana Paluzzi ! "To Trap" was shot shortly before her memorable appearance in "Thunderball"... For my money, the sexiest woman ever to appear in a Bond movie !
Continued: They had enough footage of Luciana to create a whole episode; ie " The Four Steps Affair ". This was unique as afterwards the movies were just extended 2 x part episodes ( except " The Spy With My Face " ). A while ago someone posted " To Trap " but it was removed ! Regards.
@gtrDan1963 Hi, yes I agree. I rate " To Trap a Spy " as one of the best if not the best as it captures the feel of the very early episodes and because it has Luciana Paluzzi !!! If you've seen the B&W 1st Season episode " The Four Steps Affair " you'll know what I mean. It's the only " U.N.C.L.E. " movie where they shot significant extra footage ( Luciana's scenes ) as opposed to just extra bits and pieces ( like " The Spy With My Face " ). Regards.
They should have included as an extra disc in each of the four seasons all the films...Only "One Spy Too Many" was included and that's because it made the most money upon it's release of any of the "movies".
It's a pity they haven't yet released this movie on DVD like the others ( at least in my country ); what a shame !!! And the Time-Life DVD 1st season set didn'y have it ( they had the original colour pilot ). Regards.
@gaIIery Hi, yes and he changed the side that he parted his hair on. In he pilot it's on the right ( coming across left ) but after that it's on the left as per the intro sequence in the episodes. And in the " Four Steps Affair " epiosde you see him change it on screen. Regards.
This was the first of the "U.N.C.L.E." movies, released theatrically in 1965. This is a re-edited version of the original pilot episode, "The Vulcan Affair" [which was filmed in color, but aired in black & white, and featured Will Kuluva instead of Leo G. Carroll as the head of 'U.N.C.L.E.'] with a portion of a later first season episode, "The Four Steps Affair", and additional scenes not featured in the original TV version....
@gtrDan1963 Yes, I've uploaded some clips of her from " Thunderball "; regards.

Notice that originally Vaughn's hair was slicked back, but later in the series they decided combing it forward was a better look for him, and it was.

"The Four-Steps Affair" included both extra footage from this (including the Luciana Paluzzi footage) and The Spy With My Face.
