NASA is working on a 2009 Mars mission to set down a sophisticated, large, mobile laboratory using a precision landing that will make many of Mars' most intriguing regions viable destinations for the first time. Once on the ground, the Mars Science Laboratory would analyze dozens of samples scooped from the soil and cored from rocks as it explores with greater range than any previous Mars rover.

  • @cwm747.landing using baloons is much safer.landing using jets if hazardous if the lander is caught in some strong winds.Nasa will never learn from its mistakes until it s too late and fortunes are spent for nothing.eg:challenger 1986,it could have been avoided...

  • Hey! that's a video of my home planet!!!!

  • lol that robot is going to take age to get to the next city

  • I like how they are already not using the landing balloons now, and went with jets for smoother landing.. Its only boring if your small minded..this video is showing evolution at its finest, humans should want to make sure we are on other colonies in case the earth ends, why wouldnt we? Sounds like life to me!

  • Boring!
